A great place to start. Clear your space of all unused, unwanted, or broken items and feel the freedom of owning less stuff! I’ll help walk you through the process and make decisions about what’s worth keeping and what’s worth letting go of. While this part of the process can sometimes be the most difficult, it is also the most rewarding and is guaranteed to leave you feeling lighter, freer, and more content in your space.

My specialty! We first meet in your space to discuss what’s not working, or the reason you’ve reached out for help. We take a look at the physical areas you’d like to focus on and come up with goals: what function would the space ideally serve? Who needs to use it? What is stored there? When I come back to begin the project, we always start with decluttering (see above). What can you let go of that is not serving this space? Are there items that should be stored somewhere else? Once we’ve zeroed in on the things that really belong, we look at the items and the space and come up with systems that optimize both the space and the things that are in it. We discuss your daily routines and incorporate your living style into a maintenance plan, so that your space can stay functional. The space should be working for you (not the other way around!) and my goal with reorganizing your home is to make your routines feel easy and natural. You should be able to easily find any item you own and your systems should feel easy to maintain (with some practice)!

I do the shopping (unless shopping is your thing)! I’ll source and procure any organizational furniture or products we need, and install them in your home. I pass along all my trade discounts, and I do all the returns.

I stan ELFA closets by the Container Store. Why? because they are easy to install, sturdy, endlessly customizable, and our favorite part is that you can change your layout any time! ELFA is great for closets but there are also tons of options that look beautiful enough for your living room, dining room, or ballroom. ELFA can make incredible use of corners or nooks, and there are also tons of stand-alone options that don’t require formal installation. When you are ready for your ELFA system, I’ll come to your space and take measurements, talk about your needs, and come up with a design that you can edit and change. Once we get the design finalized together, purchasing is just an online checkout process through the Container Store.

For your convenience, I also offer expert ELFA installation in addition to design. I’m experienced at working with this system on all different types of walls.

Trash hauling is included in organization services (with some exceptions). However, if the need arises for a larger trash haul, I work with haul-away partners in several locations.

Donation haul away and drop off is also included with most organization services, but if you need a large amount of donations taken away, I offer this service a la carte. I work with partners in several locations who thoughtfully redistribute your cleared items.

This is an option I offer to my clients that can also be purchased a la carte by non-clients. For my luxury donation service, I contact my network of local donation centers and match your cleared items with centers where those specific types of items are needed. When there are matches, I bring your items where they are needed and send you a list of what items ended up where. I’m work with the centers to offer donation write-off receipts for this service. This process is very labor intensive, and price will vary based on the volume and type of items being donated (some categories are harder to match with donation centers). The benefits of this service are ethical: by matching items where they are needed, you can be sure that your donations are making an impact, and also have the peace of mind that they are staying out of landfills for at least one more life cycle. If you are letting go of items that have significant monetary value, I can help you find the best channels for sale online, and at local resale centers. Or you can hand your items off to me and I’ll take care of the whole process for you!

Rates vary widely depending on the scope of the project. My base rate is $150/hour and projects generally take anywhere from 6 to 30 hours. Project materials and organizing accessories are purchased separately, however many of our name-brand products are priced lower than in-store or online retail. I charge for time spent shopping as well as time spent off-site facilitating our projects.
